MELK is proud to present Markus von Platen’s first solo show in Norway, titled Harvest.

Von Platen will show a new installation consisting of a series of sculptures, print works and a video. The gallery space will be turned into a simulation of something between a Bitcoin mining farm and a collection of archeological artefacts.

Markus von Platen (b.1984) lives and works in Copenhagen, educated from The Royal Academy in Copenhagen and Akademie der Bildende Künste in Vienna.
Recent exhibitions include shows in Kunsthal Nord (Aalborg), Kunstnernes Hus (Oslo), Geumchen (Seoul) and ESXLA (Los Angeles).

MELK is open Thursdays through Sundays 12 – 4 pm during exhibitions or by appointment.

The exhibition is supported by the Arts Council Norway, Danish Arts Council and Nordiska ministerrådet.
