0611 – Linn Pedersen – The Trouble with Matter

02.06. – 03.07. 2011
Åpning torsdag 2. juni 19.00 – 21.00

MELK er stolte av å presentere utstillingen The Trouble with Matter av Linn Pedersen.

Fog, Linn Pedersen 2010, C-Print, 80x90cm

In reverse it will happen like this: You leave the room with a treppenwitz; a clever remark that comes to mind a little too late. While approaching the framed images of a fog, a fleece, a bonfire, a branch; the trouble and desire; you stumble on a belated threshold (a limit, a boundary, a frontier that both distinguishes and connects two worlds). You enter the room.

MELK is proud to present a solo-show with Linn Pedersen entitled The Trouble with Matter.

Pedersen’s photographs of modified objects, averted figures and atmospheric conditions deals with the impossibility of not to project ones inner life onto the external world, animating the landscape into an extension of the observers own mentality.
